I’m not sure I have anything to say in this blog but I am a real fan of using blogging to thrash out ideas.

Not only does the process of writing help crystalize concepts but of course it also helps with google rankings for your blog to writing regularly and adding content.

So we established we were very keen to incrementally increase not only the the CD duplication and DVD copying parts of the business as well as printing, postering and as an add on opportunities to address Graphic design services more effectively.

Staffing and resources for the DVD duplication and general cd / dvd manufacture are pretty much in place and as I’ve been looking at how bringing on a personal assistant could see them sharing responsibilities in the printing department, then moving to manage graphic design which would be the perfect stepping stone to moving into music marketing management because the main task there is really managing the providers, delegation of jobs,

There is a need for us to replenish our graphic design staff and I will be venturing in that direction also as I’ve been aware for far too long that poor design may be holding us back becuase the level of presentation is somewhat unprofessional, or at least inappropriate for our standard.

So yes, equipping with the resources and personnel to move forward is key.

Also in my last post I talked about moving forward with creative content and branding and how in a lot of ways, strengths in marketing allow you the opportunity to leverage your contribution as part of a business venture rather than consultation and with pushing a creative brand forward,  it’s the same idea, somewhat taking a leap of faith that the work you invest into your concept or brand will develop into opportunities for profit because seriously, we know that they are unlikely to survive otherwise.

I think I need to push on with the delegation and decentralisation, but when looking towards leveraging brands and creative content I need to be more thorough in my conclusions about exactly where income will come from.
