So what do we do now that there is a kurb mobile person who is able to pick up drop off, do deliveries and run errands in building our colour printing and CD DVD copying services?

Well not we but me. What’s my new role in the business, and how will I be applying my time? How much more effective will I be if I can stay online while I’m mobile so that the key task of staying in touch with and managing my employees is pretty much optimised?

My main role is in business development and the key task is expanding my business now that I have the foundation to take on more work - it’s mainly about co-ordinating that but there are some specific tasks I need to address in order to be more effective in my businesss

- improved site design - the site is still ugly and has a nagging unproffesional look which is a hangover from the old incarnation of kurb

- managing outsourcers - this one is huge, in fact this is my main task to focus on once I have more time due to not doing all the driving around anymore. I need to apply myself to managing and responding to outsourced workers so they can be more confident in my abilities and that I’m managing effectively and efficiently, right now I’m stilll too distracted by everyday operations and I’m not often able to focus on the online marketing work that has to be carried out particularly when outsourced workers are doing most of that.

It’s my management of outsourced workers that will lead to me updating my websites with a more professional look, article marketing for SEO to build high ranking sites, videos to make sites look more intersesting, more appealing,  and also get additional traffic through youtube promotion

Then it is only a matter of advertising in order to expand in the main areas I’m developing: auckland cd dvd duplication, cheap auckland colour printing and copying, online music marketing, online video production and marketing and of course pirate birthday party work.
