Man it’s a lot easier to talk about how you need new sales presentation materials including good quality online video marketing, then actually clean yourself up, puff your chest out, get that deep authoritative voice going, and actually do it!

I guess the issue is that our video marketing and the small business marketing that we’re doing that we plan to grow into ouragency eventually is kind of latent right now so it’s hard to see how this work is going to turn over to the point I’m making $200+ per week from it, but the approach is defined by setting up this material as the trap and then baiting it with high quality videos we produce in the next 12 months.

I guess that’s the concern, when business is rolling, sales materials can date very quickly, and I’m just hoping what I produce now can still hold up in a year, but obviously, the video work I did over 2 years ago has been extremely useful so I hope that at the very least in 2 years time, I won’t have videos that are 4 years old!

I also have a new income stream about to kick in in the next couple of months.

Their are so many positives to dwell on right now.

There’s the big one, that we’re ahead on projected profits, when adjusted for the hard times we had earlier in the year. If we hadn’t had those issues, we would be no far in excess of our best projection. Which is obviously huge.

But in addition, our accounts receivable is down lower than it’s been, literally, in years. We’ve got higher profit and equity than ever and decreasing amounts of unpaid accounts and debts.

And as I mentioned, a new stream of income I’ve been working on about to open up, it’s hard to imagine the kind of pressure that will take off me, because this income stream is more product based than service which means it’s not really based upon performing a certain amount of work over a certain amount of time. As long as I can work to keep my market alive, then I will always be able to realise the income at some stage, but of course, income is limited by how much I can produce.

But dwelling on positives is not the way forward. The way forward is identifying issues and dealing with them.

Hopefully having a new marketing assistant will be the next big step this year.

The third big step will be moving from finishing off the main site to working on improving other secondary sites and even reviewing the idea of tertiary sites that turn into low income, low maintenance projects.

The point of all this is to identify everything else we need to focus on outside of creative content projects that is, creating videos and blogs mainly that testify to the level of quality we can deliver and create broader exposure through viral means.

I think it will be really powerful in terms of the future of our agency and entertainment brands if we can succeed in making strong videos, blogs and creative content regularly - one will break through and it will be all on from there.

By dealing with all these other issues and remaining aware of them, we create the space to focus on simply providing high quality online video content and blog ideas that connect us with sales, perhaps not directly but certainly by increasing our brand recognition and reach dramatically - simpy by providing high quality material that is entertaining and informative and demonstrates our ability to provide this level of content for our clients.
